Wooden AR-15 Stock with Trapdoor Butt Plate

Description

This stock comes with an A2-style butt plate which includes a trapdoor and internal storage compartment, as well as the traditional AR-15 sling swivel.

This stock is compatible with any AR-15 that has a round buffer tube (this is the style of buffer tube used on the original M16, and is what you will typically find on any AR-15 designed to accept a fixed stock) or a mil-spec buffer tube (this is the style of buffer tube used on most modern AR-15’s, that has a “keyhole”-shaped profile, and is typically used with an adjustable stock.)

Please also note that some AR-15’s use a “commercial” buffer tube, which is slightly larger in diameter than a mil-spec buffer tube.  Our stocks will NOT fit on a commercial buffer tube, so please check your buffer tube before ordering.

If you select the mil-spec buffer tube option, be aware that the storage compartment will be much smaller, as the mil-spec buffer tube takes up a lot of the space that would normally be used for the storage compartment.  Stocks designed to fit on a round buffer tube will have a storage compartment comparable in size to that in a standard A2 stock, but the storage compartment in the stocks designed to fit a mil-spec buffer tube is much more shallow (less than 2 inches deep.)

An A1 or A2 length attachment screw (depending on the length of stock you select) is included.

Due to the design of the stock, a spacer is not required for the A2 length stock.

All parts are CNC machined from 100% solid hardwood, hand sanded, and triple-coated with a quality urethane finish, with the exception of black walnut products, which are finished with tung oil.
