Wooden AR-15 Stock with Rubber Butt Pad

Description

This stock comes with a simple rubber butt pad.  Please note that there is no storage compartment.

This stock is compatible with any AR-15 that has a round buffer tube (this is the style of buffer tube used on the original M16, and is what you will typically find on any AR-15 designed to accept a fixed stock) or a mil-spec buffer tube (this is the style of buffer tube used on most modern AR-15’s, that has a “keyhole”-shaped profile, and is typically used with an adjustable stock.)

Please also note that some AR-15’s use a “commercial” buffer tube, which is slightly larger in diameter than a mil-spec buffer tube.  Our stocks will NOT fit on a commercial buffer tube, so please check your buffer tube before ordering.

Due to the design of the stock, extra space is required behind the buffer tube, as the rubber butt pad must fit over the end of the attachment screw.  For this reason, if you select a stock compatible with the round buffer tube, it will only be available in A2 length.  A mil-spec buffer tube, however, is shorter than a round buffer tube, and thus does not have this limitation, so the mil-spec buffer tube option is available in either A1 or A2 length.

For the mil-spec option, a set screw inserted through a hole in the bottom of the stock is used to secure the stock to the buffer tube.  The screw used is a standard AR-15 grip screw (1/4″-28 threads) and is included with the stock.

The round buffer tube uses a screw that threads in to the end of the buffer tube to secure the stock.  The stock will come with the needed screw pre-installed, as it is captured under the butt pad, with a small access hole provided in order to turn the screw and attach the stock.  Due to this design, despite being an A2-length stock, an A1-length screw is used (again, this is included) and the stock also does not require an A2 spacer for installation.

Comes with a standard sling swivel stud installed.

All parts are CNC machined from 100% solid hardwood, hand sanded, and triple-coated with a quality urethane finish, with the exception of black walnut products, which are finished with tung oil.
